Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This privacy policy describes how TaskCtrl AS collects, processes and protects personal data when you use our website taskctrl.no and our contact form. We process personal data in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

Via the contact form on our website, we may collect the following information:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Company name (optional)
• Topic of enquiry
• Message content

We do not collect data automatically via cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for the website to function.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data to respond to your enquiry and potentially book a demo. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). It is in both parties' interest that we can communicate with you when you have made contact.

If we enter into an agreement with you, further processing will be based on performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

4. Data processors

The contact form on our website is processed via HubSpot, which acts as our data processor. The information you submit is stored in HubSpot's data centre in the EU. For more information, see HubSpot's privacy policy.

The website is hosted on Netlify Inc. (USA), which stores static files. Netlify does not process personal data beyond technical logs. See Netlify's privacy policy.

5. Retention period

Data submitted via the contact form is deleted within 12 months if no customer relationship arises. If we enter into an agreement with you, data is retained for as long as necessary for the agreement and applicable accounting legislation (normally 5 years).

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Access: you may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification: you may request that inaccurate data is corrected.
• Erasure: you may request that your data is deleted ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction: you may request that processing is restricted in certain cases.
• Data portability: you may request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority: datatilsynet.no.

7. Cookies

The website uses only technically necessary cookies to remember your cookie consent choice. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies unless you explicitly consent.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when needed. Material changes will be notified on the website. The date at the top of the page shows when the policy was last updated.
