About TaskCtrl

Built by people who know the industry

Some of Norway's most experienced project managers from the construction industry have joined forces with specialists in data and systems development to create TaskCtrl. We know what goes wrong in complex projects, because we've experienced it ourselves.

TaskCtrl was founded by Per Roger Johansen, Tor I. Hoel, Patrick Hjerpseth and Abrha K. Abrha, with a background in project management and systematic completion on major construction projects.

TaskCtrl is in use on projects in Norway and internationally, with customers including Implenia, COWI, Skanska, AF Gruppen and Statsbygg, and Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) in data center construction in the United States. The platform delivers tools for project managers, designers, clients and subcontractors throughout the value chain.

The platform is built on principles from LEAN, VDC and Systematic Completion, developed in close dialogue with users through real projects.

The next phase is AI. With Silicon Agents, we are building specialized agents directly into the platform that automate time-consuming work in planning, testing and O&M documentation. The goal is not AI for its own sake, but measurable value: shorter completion timelines, fewer defects at handover and lower documentation costs per project. We track the impact through KPIs that matter to the people who build.

Responsible for client relationships and commercial development, in Norway and internationally. Background as completion engineer and project manager on major industrial and construction projects, including for Statsbygg, Hitachi Energy and Aker Solutions. Experience with systematic completion, cost control, contracts and risk management.
